We also have an OnStar subscription, and of course map apps on our phones if we ever get in a pinch and need help, so it's not a huge deal for us. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my saved destinations were not deleted and still there after the update! However, the last factory update for our vehicle was in 2012 (which this is for), so any newer streets/highways since 2012 probably won't show up. Now the input responds much faster, and actually finds more streets than before. even when trying to use the city/state first to help find them. The button input used to be super slow to type in destinations, and wouldn't find half the streets in our surrounding areas. Worked absolutely great in my 2008 Chevy Trailblazer LT! The 10.4v 2012 update improved our existing navigation very well, instead of using the slow outdated OEM 2008 CD that came with the truck. Worked like a charm for 2008 Chevy Trailblazer! Saved us $182 from factory price!
